Founders KARYN NOLAN Ms. Nolan has more than 8 years experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). She has worked for both private and non-profit companies using GIS for environmental consulting, serving as a GIS / GPS specialist, running a GPS division, and training hundreds of professionals in the use of Trimble's mapping grade systems integrated with GIS. Ms. Nolan began working with GPS data collection in 1994 with the University of Hawaii's Coastal Geology group. She used GIS as an environmental consultant on watershed resource management with the Institute for Sustainable Development, and ran the GPS division at Geo Insight International, Inc. Ms. Nolan is currently a Trimble Mapping and GIS certified trainer, and is undergoing trainer certification on survey-grade and optical equipment. Ms. Nolan specializes in orchestrating custom mapping solutions for clients based on their individual requirements and business goals. She enjoys working with her customers to clarify the complex offering of GIS/GPS hardware and software products, and advising them on the best solution for their needs from the world's leading technologies. He worked as a Project Manager for various consulting engineering companies and has extensive experience in current surveying and mapping technologies. A graduate from the University of Hawaii, Mr. McGrath also has a Masters degree in water resource engineering from the University of Colorado focusing on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and computer modeling. He was the GIS specialist for multiple consulting engineering firms and is an experienced surveyor with optical and GPS equipment. Mr. McGrath is a Trimble trainer and has helped to develop specialized surveying grade training courses. Mr. McGrath enjoys the business aspects of Pacific GPS and specializes in consulting and training with survey grade equipment. His extensive technical background in GIS and GPS is critical in assisting clients with discovering their best solution to obtain and implement their GIS / GPS needs.
